The primary school in Suchdol nad Odrou
Recently there are 14 classes in school buildings, there are 2 departments of public nursery, 4 departments of kindergarten and 2 cafeterias. Aside from regular class rooms there are also special classrooms for teaching computer science, foreign languages, chemistry, physics, biology, music,
w orking activity and outside classroom in school atrium. The pupils can participate in optional classes and clubs of their interests such as choir singing, playing flute, ceramics, arts, aerobics, football and computer science.
Suchdol nad Odrou
Suchdol nad Odrou is situated in north-eastern part of Moravian- Silesian region in part called “Moravská brána” at the left bank of the river Odra. There is very important railway route Přerov- Bohumín which goes through Suchdol nad Odrou. The village was founded in around 1200, and in history belonged to Fulnek and lately to Kunin domain.
Suchdol nad Odrou is part of state natural reserve Poodří. At the west end of the village there is quiet part called Kletné which serves also as recreational place.
In the village there is kindergarten, grammar school, community center, health center, boarding-house, two museums and sport campus. Baroque vicarage, two churches and passenger hall at the railway station all belong to the historic sights of the
community.
